The University of Lausanne is offering an International Master in Vaccinology (IMVACC) developed by the Swiss Vaccine Research Institute (SVRI) and the Health Sciences e-Training Foundation (HSeT) in collaboration with the Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV).
IMVACC equips participants with advanced knowledge in immunology and microbiology while exploring registered vaccines—their development, mechanisms, and characteristics. The program covers new trends in translational vaccine research, the full development process from discovery to launch, and strategies to address vaccine hesitancy and promote acceptance. Participants also learn how vaccines reach at-risk populations, how safety and efficacy are monitored post-marketing, and gain practical skills in project management and collaborative work using digital tools with minimal in-person interaction.
