The Elements of Data Science programme focuses on automating data gathering, analysis, and reporting to enable insights and data-driven decision-making. It introduces the coding language R and the Tidyverse, providing practical experience across the data science pipeline. Learners engage with tabular data, applying core methods for analysis and visualisation. The course concludes with the creation of integrated reports using R Markdown, where code and narrative text coexist seamlessly, building essential skills for effective communication in data science.
